More New Pavement Sighted on Bangor Mall Blvd [PHOTOS]

Ho Ho Ho, It truly is Christmas in July.

There has been more paving around Bangor Mall, on Bangor Mall Boulevard.

And more fresh, brand spankin' new pavement is a beautiful sight. This is looking back towards Oriental Jade.

We all realize that with fewer stores in Bangor Mall than the ‘good ole days’ there is less traffic using Bangor Mall Blvd and the mall parking lot.

But any improvements they can do is helpful. Some stretches of that road could be entered on the Mount Rushmore of bad pavement. Into the Guinness World Record Book for bad roads.

But they are doing some repair

Remember a few years ago how bad Bangor Mall Blvd seemed?  And then it got worse.

They did some paving work, and the suspension in my vehicle, not to mention the fillings in my teeth appreciate it

Even the private road that links to the mall and acts as a cut through from Stillwater to the mall destinations, was repaved a few months ago

Any fresh pavement is an improvement and a blessing, even if the traffic volume is not what it once was.

This section is towards the entrance if you were going into Mainely Eyes.

We thank you for the upgrade. And to the workers doing that job, how hot is that pavement when the air is as hot and humid as it is? Think Christmas, it might cool you off.

After all, it is Christmas in July on Bangor Mall Blvd.
