
Bangor, Maine Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Massachusetts Fugitive
A man wanted in Massachusetts for multiple drug and firearms charges was arrested by U.S. Marshals during a traffic stop in Bangor, Maine.
Massachusetts Fugitive Was Arrested During a Bangor, Maine, Traffic Stop
Jameel T. Clark-White, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, was arrested in Bangor this week as a fugitive from justice. The investigation into Clark-White's whereabouts led officials to Orrington and Brewer, before they were able to locate him in Bangor.

Task Force members identified Clark-White as he left a Bangor residence and got into a vehicle being driven by someone else. Sometime later, the car was stopped by U.S. Marshals and members of the Bangor Police Department.
Massachusetts Fugitive Arrested in Maine Faces Multiple Drug and Firearms Charges
Clark-White has multiple warrants out for his arrest in Massachusetts. The current arrest warrants were for charges including:
- Possession of a machine gun
- 3 counts of possession of large capacity firearms
- Drug possession
- Carrying a loaded firearm without a license
- Firearm violation with three prior violent drug crimes
- Carrying firearms on school grounds
- Receiving stolen property
- Leaving the scene of a property damage accident
- Operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

Before these charges were filed in Massachusetts, Clark-White had previously been released on bond in that state for the following charges:
- Battery with a dangerous weapon
- Car-jacking
- Assault & battery with a dangerous weapon
- Assault & battery attempt with a firearm
- Cocaine trafficking
- Fentanyl trafficking
- Firearm carry without a license
- Possession of a firearm with a large capacity magazine.
In addition, he's now charged in Maine with being a fugitive from justice.
Massachusetts Fugitive Allegedly Had Illegal Drugs When Searched at Maine Jail
Clark-White was taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where a quantity of drugs was allegedly found on his person. He now faces charges in Maine for:
- Trafficking in illegal substances
- Trafficking in prison contraband.
He will be extradited to Massachusetts.
