Bangor Firefighters were busy on Sunday, responding to two separate fires, both on Third Street.

The first call was for a fire at 94 Third Street. According to the Bangor Professional Firefighters' Facebook page, it was a well-involved attic fire that crews were able to knock down quickly. No one was hurt in the incident, including multiple pets who were all rescued by firefighters. The cause of this fire is under investigation.

A short time later, crews were once again called out, this time to 190 Third Street for a report of a kitchen fire. One person was removed from the home. There's no word on how that fire started.

The American Red Cross is helping two people who were displaced by fire.

We'll update this story as more details become available.
