Automobile freaks and automobile fans of all degrees, here comes another event.

Pine State Automotive Enthusiasts Bangor Car Meets is tomorrow night at Bangor Mall where the Sears Automotive used to be located. How appropriate. Enter by the Staples store location, and you’ll see the cars.

The last time there was a Saturday night Bangor Car Meets event they had one of their biggest turn outs of the year.  About 350 cars were there. The event  is from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. but you might want to arrive timely and avoid the traffic back up.

It’s free, however if you would like, bring non perishable food items which will be donated to the Bangor Area Homeless Shelter. Plus they’ll collect cash for them as well.  Each meet donations are given to various local non profit organizations in the Bangor area.  And this is event number 9 of the season. Win win for the community.  And for the growing community of automobile enthusiasts.

Ty Taylor of Pinestate Automotive Enthusiasts says

“Every meet we are making new connections and friends while spreading our style of car meets. I would love to start seeing some folks from the local drag ways and tracks attend as well, we have plenty of space for them to park their trailers and showcase the cars they have worked hard to build. I am excited to see what tomorrow nights event brings and am looking forward to meeting even more fellow enthusiasts and sharing our passion for all things automotive.”
