Augusta Police Arrest Three For Drug Trafficking
Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after police executed a search warrant in Augusta.
Deputy Chief Jared Mills said in a media release that the warrant was served at a residence on Crosby Street Place on Monday. Augusta Police and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency had been working together on an investigation into cocaine sales in the city.
As a result of that warrant, several grams of cocaine were seized and three people were arrested:
- Jaci Beane, age 24 of Augusta, charged with 8 counts of trafficking in scheduled drugs, some of which were elevated to aggravated trafficking, and 1 count of violation of conditions of release. His bail was set at $25,000 cash.
- Tabitha Luczkowski, age 28 of Windsor, charged with 1 count of trafficking in scheduled drugs. Her bail was set at $5,000 cash.
- Jon Brotherton, age 45 of Augusta, charged with trafficking in scheduled drugs. His bail was set at $10,000 cash.
