Valentine's Day doesn't have to mean roses and candy, when there are so many other ways to celebrate.

Even before the pandemic, I was never really a 'give me roses for Valentine's Day' kind of person. Don't get me wrong, I love flowers. But I know they're expensive this time of year. Plus, I'd rather get flowers spontaneously, rather than on a day when my partner feels obligated to buy them. For my part, I have a hard time coming up with something other than just a card to give my husband for Valentine's Day. Guys are tough to buy for, so I tried to think of some non-traditional ideas, that men and women alike can do to show their Valentine that they're appreciated.
