Police are searching for a man who robbed a Norway Savings Bank in Naples on Friday.

The man entered the bank on Roosevelt Trail at about noon and demanded money, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Saturday.

Police said the man claimed to have a weapon, but a weapon was not displayed. The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash before he fled the scene in a vehicle parked in the breakdown lane of Roosevelt Trail.

The suspect vehicle is described as an older model, gray or silver compact car.

The man is described as a white male, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium build. The man may have a beard and is estimated to be 40-50 years old. He was wearing black pants, a blue sweatshirt, a dark knit hat, winter gloves and a scarf that was wrapped around his face.

The FBI is assisting the sheriff's office with the investigation.
