At the event the PBS's top 40 bowlers will be split into eight squads. The event will be filmed by ESPN and featured on TV for the next four Sundays starting this Sunday at 5PM.

Although Maine is not a hot spot for Bowling the PBA and owners of Bayside Bowling hope the sport will grow with this event. In fact, none of the competing bowlers are from New England.

Team games are said to move quickly and feature the best of the best with the champion team taking home $50,000. A second event will be held on Monday and Tuesday and is an individual contest. The 'Shootout' event will feature the PBA's top 40 bowlers with over 20 other entrants, some of which are from Maine. 'Shootout' winner will take home $10,000.
