Woman Missed by Inches When Metal Pierced Her Windshield in Maine
A New Hampshire woman wasn't seriously hurt when a piece of metal pierced her windshield on the Maine Turnpike.
Where Did the Incident Take Place?
I'm not sure if I believe in guardian angels but, if they're real, one was watching over a 21-year-old woman Tuesday morning. The woman, whose name has not been released, was traveling southbound on the Maine Turnpike in Gray, near Mile 61, when a freak accident put her life at risk.
What Happened?
Maine Department of Public Safety spokesperson Shannon Moss says the woman told authorities that a vehicle traveling in front of her ran over a piece of metal, which was kicked into the air. The road debris struck the windshield of her Jeep Wrangler and impaled itself through the glass. Amazingly, it stopped only inches from her face.
Was the Woman Hurt in the Crash?
The woman was able to pull safely to the side of the road until police could arrive. She was checked out by paramedics at the scene, who found she had only sustained minor injuries. I wonder if she heard a bell ring, because I'm guessing that her guardian angel got their wings
