Traffic will be reduced to one lane on a portion of Stillwater Avenue in Bangor this week, as road crews do some striping.

The line painting will involve the intersection of Stillwater Avenue, the Bangor Parkade shopping plaza, and the I-95 on-and-off-ramps. Traffic will be reduced to one lane which will cause delays.

Because of the amount of traffic that regularly flows through that intersection, Bangor officials are suggesting that motorists avoid the area, if at all possible on Tuesday and Thursday, when the work is being done. Anyone who has to travel that portion of Stillwater Avenue is advised to give themselves extra time to get to their destination.
