Stillwater River Trail in Orono Light Show with Pizza Sunday

Tis the season. A spectacular light display awaits the family at Stillwater River Trail Little Free Library at 100 Bennoch Road in Orono.

But wait. This Sunday there is more.

This Sunday afternoon beginning at 4 p.m. it’s Pizza on the Trail. That is just what it sounds like.

All those lights and a slice of pizza too. Slice, Slice Baby.

Beginning at 4 p.m. it is Free Orono House of Pizza (OHOP) provided by The Local in Orono while supplies last. Yes the Local hands out free slices on the trail when the lights come on. When it is gone, it is gone.

If you haven’t been to Stillwater River Trail yet this year, the hours are Sunday through Thursdays 4 to 9 p.m. & Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

And this year there are double the lights from last year.

Over 200,000 lights on the light trail this year. Yes, it is shining brighter.

All those lights, and a slice too.
