Penobscot County officials say one person was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Stetson.

A Truck Containing Two People Went Off the Road

The crash on the Mullen Road in Stetson was reported to the Penobscot Regional Communications Center at approximately 12:10 Friday morning. When Penobscot County Sheriff's Deputies arrived at the scene, they found a single truck that had left the road and crashed into some trees. Two people were trapped in the vehicle and needed help from first responders to get out.

One of the Two Occupants Passed Away at the Scene

Despite life-saving efforts made by rescuers, one of the occupants was pronounced dead at the scene. The names of the people involved have not been released.

This incident remains under investigation.
