Eddington Man Allegedly Broke His Neighbor’s Windows With Rocks
A woman who reported someone was shooting at her house is okay after officials found a man allegedly throwing rocks through her windows.
The Accused is the Victim's Neighbor
Luther Green, 58, of Eddington is charged with criminal mischief for the incident in his neighborhood.

When the Victim Called 911, She Believed Someone Was Shooting At Her House
It was just before noon on Friday, July 5th, when the Penobscot Regional Communications Center got a call from a woman in Eddington who thought someone was shooting at her house. She told the dispatcher that she was hearing what she thought were multiple gunshots around her yard and that there was glass everywhere. The dispatcher instructed the woman to shelter in place and to take measures to protect herself until the town's Deputy could arrive at the scene.
After an Investigation, Green Was Taken to the Penobscot County Jail
The Penobscot County Sheriff's Deputy got to the woman's house quickly and, after an initial investigation, determined that Mr. Green had allegedly been throwing large rocks against the woman's house, and through her windows, causing damage. Green is the victim's neighbor.
He was arrested, charged with criminal mischief, and transported to the Penobscot County Jail.
