Looks like the King of Horror is a fan of The Chief.

Eric Church released the final installment of his triple album project, Heart & Soul, last week. The project featured albums Heart and Soul, which were mass released, with & being an album exclusively for his Church Choir. Praise of The Chief's latest work has poured in from far and wide, even from Bangor's most famous resident.

Stephen King tweeted his liking of the works last week on Twitter, saying simply "The new Eric Church album is awesome."

King in particular highlighted the tune "Stick That In Your Country Song," saying "Maybe not the best song on the new Eric Church record, but the most interesting one." He adds "I strongly doubt if you'll hear it on your local c&w stations."

His diss towards country radio falls flat, as the song was quickly added to stations across the country when it was released back in June 2020. Q106.5 was among the first radio stations in the country to put the song into full rotation June 25, the same day of its release.

Eric Church is set to embark on The Gather Again Tour. The closest stop to Maine is a show at SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire. The show is set for December, 3. Tickets go on-sale to his fan club ,The Church Choir, May 3. Ticket sales open to the general public on May 7.

The Chief brought his Double Down Tour to the SNHU Arena back in 2019. The show was included as an extension of the tour, as he had already sold-out two nights in Boston. Church was last in Bangor back in 2017, as he closed out the summer concert season with a packed show on the waterfront.
