For those who haven’t heard, It: Welcome to Derry is an upcoming series based on Stephen King’s 1986 novel ‘It’ and serves as a prequel to the films ‘It (2017)’ and ‘It: Chapter Two (2019).’

Developed by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs, the series stars Bill Skarsgård, returning as Pennywise, while also serving as an executive producer.

The new series is set in 1962 in Derry, Maine—a fictional town loosely inspired by Bangor, where Stephen King lived for many years and where his iconic home still stands.

It: Welcome to Derry premieres on HBO Sunday, October 26th, with new episodes every Sunday leading up to the season finale on December 14th.
