Although there are professionals who tour the country to compete in these types of events, know too that there are local pros who are Mainers and will participate too.  Let’s cheer them on.

Due to competition rules, the food in the events can not be sold, but with that smoke and aroma wafting through the air, don’t worry there are food trucks and vendors ready to feed you when you get the urge.

If the family wants a break from the competition there is a petting zoo, bounce house, and other games, and also live music to enjoy.

Chicken, pork ribs, pork shoulder, beef brisket, it’s all there.
