The Seeds of Hope Food Pantry in Bangor is looking for more folks in need that they can help, but they also need a little help of their own.

Isaac Mann, director of the Seeds of Hope Food Pantry told us this week that they are receiving large shipments of donated clothes all the time, and they'd like to see more folks in need stopping by to pick out some new duds. He said the clothes aren't brand new, but they're in excellent condition. There's no charge for the clothes, so if your kids need some winter sweaters or new jeans, it would be worth stopping by for a look.

In addition to the clothes, Seeds of Hope offers food, including already prepared and frozen meals that you can just take home and heat. They have household items and even toys, free for the taking. Mann says they don't care what county you're from, only that you have a need for a little kindness extended your way. Seeds of Hope Food Pantry is located in the Beacon of Hope Church of God, on the corner of Ohio Street and Davis Road in Bangor.

And speaking of kindness, the food pantry is in need of a little coming their way, as well. The pantry truck needs 6 new tires, and they're hoping to collect donations to help cover a $780 quote to get the tires and have them installed, or even a local tire place that might want to donate them outright. Either way, the truck needs those new sneakers if they're going to be able to use it for the good of the pantry this winter.
