Second Juvenile Charged After Threats At Mount View School Complex
A second juvenile has been charged after a pair of threatening messages were found last week at the Mount View school complex in Thorndike.
The complex was placed on lockdown Sept. 14 after a threatening note was found in a school bathroom.
The Waldo County Sheriff’s Office said in a Thursday press release that a male juvenile was charged Wednesday with terrorizing, class C. The suspect was being held Thursday at a juvenile detention facility.
The sheriff's office on Sept. 15 said a second threatening message had been found at the school complex, and a female juvenile was charged in connection with the incident. The suspect was charged with terrorizing, class C, and was being held Thursday at a juvenile detention facility.
All schools in the complex were placed on lockdown following the discoveries of each of the threatening messages.
