The search for a missing Bangor man continues today after searchers turned up no sign of him on Monday.

Paul Francis III left work very early Friday morning and began walking toward a party on Sanford Street in Bangor. Sometime after attending the party, the 29-year-old known as 'June Bug' told friends he was heading to his Center Street home. He hasn't been seen since.

Friends and family were helped in their search for June Bug Monday afternoon by Bangor Police and DEEMI Search and Rescue. One searcher said the K-9's last picked up his scent at the Half Acre nightclub on Harlow Street, but it disappeared after that. Friend Robert Kearns told WABI-TV that June Bug has a job and small child that he loves and would never willingly abandon. Because of this, friends and family fear the worst. The search is expected to resume today.

June Bug is about 5'6" tall, with brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to call Bangor Police at (207) 947-7382.
