Union Street Automotive is once again offering free tows, to help New Year's Eve party goers get home safely.

New Year's Eve parties are a lot of fun. There's the countdown at midnight, the kiss, and, of course, the champagne. A lot of people will be headed out tomorrow night, to party the decade away. And the smart ones will have a plan in place to get home safely, like a sober designated driver or cab fare.

But, of course, there will be some people who drive to the party and then realize they're too drunk to drive home. It's nice to say 'take a cab,' but many of those folks will need that car in the morning to get to work. That's where Union Street Automotive comes in.

Once again this year, they're offering free tows to party-goers who are too intoxicated to drive themselves home. They do stipulate that you have to be in the Bangor/Brewer area and must be traveling within that same area to get home.
