
Bucksport, Maine Woman Charged with Aggravated Drug Trafficking
A Bucksport woman is facing charges after a traffic stop on Monday.
Bucksport, Maine Woman Arrested on Aggravated Drug Charges
Sara Malta was originally arrested for operating after revocation when her vehicle was stopped on Route 1 Monday morning, just before 6:30.
By the time the arrest was complete, she was also charged with:
- Two counts of aggravated trafficking in Scheduled drugs
- Unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs
- Unlawful possession of scheduled drugs
- Violation of probation.
She was taken to the Hancock County Jail.
Bucksport, Maine Police Seized Fentanyl, Coke, Meth During Traffic Stop

In the process of the investigation, Ms. Malta was found to be in possession of a variety of drugs, including some found within a body cavity, once she was processed at the jail.

Malta was found to be in possession of:
- 24.1 grams of fentanyl
- 14.2 grams of cocaine
- 32.1 grams of methamphetamine
Bucksport Police also seized $590.00 in Chase from Malta.
