The 2023 concert season here in Maine is shaping up to be absolutely stellar.

The Maine Savings Amphitheater has been ramping it up quite a bit in recent years, especially after the sad and lonely lockdown that covid caused. The last couple of years have been red hot on the waterfront, and 2023 is no exception. Weezer was just announced this week.

Other announcements so far have included Chris Stapleton, Jelly Roll, Pantera, Nickelback, and Goo Goo Dolls... just to name a few. And just when you thought it might slow down with the huge show announcements, another one is rolling out...

Carlos Santana is coming to the Bangor Waterfront!

On August 2, Santana is coming to Bangor to deliver their brand of Latin-tinged rock and roll. He always has a top-notch band, featuring his wife, Cindy Blackman on drums. You may remember her as the afro'd drummer powerhouse in Lenny Kravitz's "Are You Gonna Go My Way" video from back in the day.

The Santana set list when they come to Bangor will undoubtedly be chock-full of his hits from over the decades. You'll likely hear "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va" and all the other hits from way back. And although I doubt Rob Thomas will be there, I'm sure you'll still hear some version of this mega-hit...

Tickets go on sale Friday, March 3rd at 10:00 am through all your normal sources.
