Sabattus Accident Kills 1 And Injures 2

An accident last night in Sabattus has claimed the life of a Wiscasset man and injured two others.

WABI-TV reports the accident happened just before 5:30 Sunday night in Sabattus. An SUV driven by 58-year-old Golden Baise, Jr. of Wiscasset collided with another vehicle head-on. Baise died at the scene. His wife, 50-year-old Dawn Baise, was hospitalized with unknown injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, Robbie Robbins of Harpswell, was also taken to the hospital. There's no word on Robbins' injuries. Police are investigating the accident.
