20-Year-Old Identified as the Victim of a Fiery Crash in Richmond
A 20-year-old Richmond man has been identified as the victim of a crash between two pickup trucks that happened earlier this month.

The victim has been identified as Mark Judd of Richmond, according to WGME-TV.
Where Did the Crash Happen?
Just after 6:00 on the morning of August 3, 2024, the Sagadahoc County Communications Office began receiving calls about a motor vehicle crash on Route 201, Brunswick Road, in Richmond. Callers told authorities that two vehicles were involved in the crash just north of Thorofare Road, one was on fire, and the other was overturned.
When first responders arrived on the scene, they found the roadway blocked by a pickup truck that was turned on its side, and another pickup truck in the ditch that was fully engulfed in flames. Firefighters from the Richmond Fire Department immediately went to work extinguishing the fire and determined that the operator, Mark Judd, was trapped in the Chevrolet Silverado. Firefighters were unable to get to Judd in time and he perished in the fire.The other vehicle, identified as a Ford F-250 was owned and operated by William Miller IV, 58, of Richmond who received minor injuries.
What Do Police Say Caused the Crash?
An investigation by the Sagadahoc County Sheriff's Office determined that the Silverado was traveling north on Route 201 when it crossed over the center line and into the path of the F-250. Officials say Mr. Miller tried to evade the collision.
