
Bangor, Maine Police Update on Airport Incident
Bangor Police have provided an update on an incident that shut down the terminal at BIA overnight.
Bangor, Maine Airport Terminal Closed Down by Police Overnight
The main terminal at BIA is now open but a post on the BIA Facebook page overnight stated that access was restricted. People were still allowed to pick up passengers, but they would not be allowed inside the terminal overnight.

Again, access to the terminal has been restored.
Bangor, Maine Police Update the Airport Incident That's Under Investigation
It was approximately 10:43 Sunday night when the Bangor Police responded to Bangor International Airport in response to a threat that was made.
Bangor Police Department's Public Information Officer Jeremy Brock says investigators shut down access to the terminal until determining that the threat was unsubstantiated.
The Bangor Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division continues to follow up with this incident.
