Questions about New England Ribfest? No worries. Here are some helpful tips for an awesome Ribfest experience!

Do I have to buy a separate ticket for the concerts?

No, your admission to the festival includes all entertainment. For pre-sale - Friday admission is free until 2pm and only $10 after 2pm. On Saturday, pre-sale admission is only $10 per ticket, too! Ticket prices increase by $5 at the gate. General admission (2-day) weekend passes, VIP one-day passes and VIP weekend passes are available.

I bought Ribfest tickets in advance, where should I go?

Ticket holders looking to gain entry into the festival should go to the pre-sale line at the main gate.

I didn’t buy my tickets in advance and need to purchase them onsite. What should I do?

We will have a tent set up at the entrance of Bass Park for day-of-event ticket purchases. No worries, we’ll get you right in!

What is the deal with the VIP?

Looking to elevate your experience? The VIP ticket is the way to go. VIP ticket includes upfront access to the show as well as access to our VIP Tent, VIP exclusive porta-potties, private cash bar (offering beer, wine, cider and a signature drink), allows reentry, and a $10 RIBFEST voucher.

How do I purchase the ribs/food from the vendors?

All food vendors accept cash and or debit/credit cards directly at their booths. You do not need food tickets to purchase food.

How do I get beverages?

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available at the two designated beverage tents. To purchase beverages, you must use drink tickets that are available adjacent to the beverage tents.

Will there be other food available in addition to ribs?

Yes, rib vendors also bring a variety of other BBQ foods such as, BBQ chicken, pulled pork, BBQ sausage, along with various side dishes.

Do you take credit cards or cash only?

We take cash only for admission and beverage tickets, however, some food vendors accept credit.

Do you allow re-entry?

Friday ONLY from 11am to 2pm, you can come and go as you like, however, after 2pm, there is no reentry if you leave the festival, except for VIP ticket holders.

Where should we park? 

You may park in the parking lots in and around Bass Park.

Can we bring lawn chairs?

Yes. It is festival seating so please bring your own seats! We will have some seats available for VIP ticket holders, but we encourage VIP ticket holders to bring their own comfy seats, too.

Is there an age limit to attend?

We welcome children of all ages! This is a family event, and we encourage you to bring the whole family out to enjoy the day. Kids under 12 are free both days. During the night, after 7pm, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Are pets allowed?

Sadly, no. Pets are not allowed on festival grounds unless they are a service animal with proper identification.

Can I bring my camera?

Yes! We’d love for you to document the day with pictures. Share them with us via social media using the hashtag, #newenglandribfest And find us on Facebook – New England Ribfest.

Please note: Some artists have requested that attendees not use long lens equipment or video. Signs will be posted at the entrance and announcements will be made. We ask that you respect the artists’ wishes.

What items are not allowed in the venue?

No outside food, beverages, weapons, coolers, laser pens and similar focused light devices, professional cameras and recording devices, musical instruments, scooters, bikes, bags or umbrellas.

New England RIBFEST is a rain or shine event.

Must be at least 21 years old with valid ID to purchase or consume alcohol.
