Report: One Dead In Route 1A Crash In Ellsworth

A Franklin man is dead after as the result of a head-on crash on Route 1A in Ellsworth on Tuesday, according to a news report.

Warren Higgins, 67, died at the scene.

WABI is reporting the crash involved two vehicles and happened around 12:30 p.m. The road was still closed as of 2 p.m.

Two others were hospitalized, according to the report.
