Looking For a Seasonal Fun Family Event This Weekend?

If you and your kids have had enough of the leaf peeping and apple picking and are ready for something else, here is an event happening Sunday the 22nd at Anah Shriner’s building.

UCP of Maine’s 21st Annual Pumpkins in the Park will be this Sunday.
And the fundraiser for UCP is a cash only event with admission of $5.00 per person or $15.00 per family. Children 3 years old and under are free.

All of the proceeds from this event will benefit UCP of Maine in supporting the needs of children and adults with physical, intellectual and mental health needs in the community.

And here is a change this year

UCP Bangor’s Andrew Lohman is Pumpkins in the Park Chair and shares:

This year we will be opening the doors an hour early, at 11:00am, with a sensory-friendly environment until Noon for individuals who would like to attend. During this time, we will have low music playing and the lights on.

Pumpkins in the Park is an indoor community Halloween event for the entire family. This year’s theme is Hooked on Books; attendees are encouraged to come in their Halloween costumes.

At the event, attendees will enjoy warm and safe trick-or-treating at business-sponsored pumpkin patches, with hundreds of glowing Jack O'Lanterns carved by area youth and business groups. Along with trick-or-treating, the event will feature face painting, prizes, a bounce house (weather permitting), concessions, and more.

Tickets are available on Sunday at the door and also in advance at UCP of Maine, 700 Mt. Hope, Suite 320, Bangor.
