Presque Isle PD Asks For Public’s Help Finding Missing Brothers

The Presque Isle Police Department has asked for the public's help locating missing brothers who they fear have been taken out of state.

In a post on the department's Facebook page, Presque Isle Police identify the boys as 12-year-old Joel Stother II and 10-year-old Carter Strother III. Officials say they have reason to believe the boys may have been taken out of state, against their will, and that they may be in North or South Carolina.

Police say it's possible the boys may be with Joel Strother, Kimberly McLeod aka Kimberly Strother, Christopher McLeod, or Matthew McLeod. No other information was given about the circumstances or how long the boys have been missing.

Anyone with information about the boys' whereabouts is urged to contact the Presque Isle Police Department at (207) 764-4476. They ask that people share the information on social media to help spread the word.
