Police Seek Suspect in Caribou Shooting

Police say a suspect in a shooting in Caribou is at large, and should not be approached, if spotted.

Caribou Police say one person was injured in an early morning shooting on the River Road in Caribou. The man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Now, officials are looking for a suspect in the shooting, 39-year-old Adrian Covington, who's described as a heavy-set 6' 01" tall black man. Police say he may be driving a white Chevy Tahoe, with Maine Veteran plate, 6094A2.

Anyone who encounters the vehicle or Covington is urged not to approach him, but contact police immediately.
