Police Investigating The Shooting Death Of A Gardiner Man

The State Police are investigating the shooting death of a man outside a West Gardiner home. 

WCSH-TV reports the victim is 41-year-old James Haskell. The call came in at around 2:45 a.m. on Saturday morning. Police say there had been a gathering at the home on Yeaton Road in West Gardiner, and there were many people inside the residence when they arrived. Haskell's body was found outside.

The investigation is ongoing and police say the people at the home have been cooperative.
