Police Investigating Robbery At Unity Pharmacy

The Waldo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a robbery today at Unity Pharmacy.

Officials say a man walked into the Unity Pharmacy at 1:30 this afternoon and presented a note to a female employee, demanding prescription medication. The pharmacy is located inside Edwards' Shop n' Save on Plaza Drive. The man received an undetermined amount of medication and walked out of the store.

Investigators say he's described as about 6' tall with an average build and blue eyes. He was wearing black clothing and his face was covered with a mask. Video surveillance shows that the suspect arrived at the pharmacy driving a red/maroon four door car, similar to a Chevy Aveo.
