Police Investigate Shooting in Hampden

Police are investigating a shooting in Hampden on Saturday evening.

WABI-TV says police were called to Hampden Trailer Park on Main Road North at around 5:00 for a report of a shooting. One or more people were taken away in an ambulance, but there's no word on how seriously they were injured.

Police shut down a portion of the road as they surrounded a trailer before a suspect was taken into custody at around 6:00. Hampden and State Police were on-scene, as were members of the Penobscot County Sheriff's Office.
