Police: Failing Health Prompted Mother, Daughter Suicide In Penobscot County

Police are investigating the deaths of two women found dead in their Kingman home as suicides.

The adult mother and daughter’s bodies were discovered Tuesday afternoon by their landlord, in the bedrooms of the house they were renting at 17 Park Street, police said.

Ashley Clark, 28, and her mother, Deborah Pecor, 57, both had been in failing health and a suicide note, dated last Friday, was found at the scene, according to police.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office was scheduled to examine the bodies today at a local funeral home.
