My wife, from time to time, enjoys a good spa day. I usually encourage her to go all out. Get the mani, the pedi, the facial, massages....the works. When she comes home, she has every tell-tale sign of a luxurious day of pampering.

Think about it, getting spa'd up is one of the greatest gifts a person can give to themselves. So why not share such decadent good fortune with your best bud Fido? Or Spot? Or Rover? Who cares what you call your dog. But definitely call them to hop in the car and head to Downeast Toyota on March 1 from 10:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. for the Downeast Doggy Drive!

Sponsored by Downeast Toyota and the Loyal Biscuit Co., they are asking for items to donate to the Bangor Humane Society. A little while back, I posted here about the Bangor Humane Society collecting new and gently used blankets, and they're crossing their fingers for more at this event.

In addition, you could also bring:

  • Canned / dry dog or cat food
  • New or gently used pet beds
  • Peanut butter
  • Squeeze cheese
  • Bleach, rubber gloves, or Windex.

In exchange for your much appreciated donation, there are a number of awesome things to spoil your pets with. Like a Prize Treat Wheel, or a doggy massage. Even a photo booth and ball pit! Plus many other cools things to do with your puppers and doggos. It's always a great day when you can make yourself happy by making your pet happy.

So remember, Thursday, March 1, from 10:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. at Downeast Toyota. Come on out and make your dog smile!
