Rock me mama, on down to Portland!

More country in the big city! The Maine State Pier welcomes Old Crow Medicine Show Tuesday August 22.

Tickets go on-sale Friday June 16.

Old Crow Medicine Show is best known for their mega-hit 'Wagon Wheel.' The song was further popularized when Darius Rucker covered the tune for his True Believers album.

Die hard Bob Dylan fans know the roots of 'Wagon Wheel' stem from a unfinished tune from Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid sessions. The original was titled 'Rock Me Mama.'

Because Bob mumbles through most of the song, Old Crow Medicine Show took the song further adding the lyrics we all know by heart at this point. The group gives Bob writing credits for the song and splits the royalties 50/50 with him.
