State Police and the Warden Service have joined the search for a Skowhegan woman who's been missing since May.

40-year-old Tina Stadig was last seen on May 28th in Skowhegan and now, State Police, game wardens, and Skowhegan Police are searching for her. Police say her friends and family have been cooperative with the investigation.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says State Police detectives, members of the department's evidence response team, and game wardens spent part of Tuesday searching a home along Route 150 in Skowhegan and an adjacent 5 acre wooded lot. Three tracking dogs were also at the residence that's occupied by a friend of Stadig's who says she would occasionally stay there.

Police say she's 5'2" tall, about 140 pounds, and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is encouraged to call Skowhegan Police at (207) 474-6908 or State Police in Augusta at (207) 624-7076.
