Officials with the Knox County Sheriff's Office say there's no cause for concern after an Appleton resident found a flier in her driveway for the Ku Klux Klan.

According to the Portland Press Herald, a woman found the flier in a sandwich bag that had been weighed down with rocks. Printed on the flier were an American flag, image of a KKK member, and a black ribbon, along with the following message:

'Traditionalist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan THANK YOU! We fully support all the men and women in blue. Police Lives Matter.'

This was followed by an 800 number (called the Klanline) and an insignia that says 'Support Law Enforcement.'

Sheriff's department officials say it's the only incident they've heard about, and so they don't feel there's any threat to the public. In addition, they consider it a random act since the woman who discovered it is not a minority nor does she work in law enforcement.
