January 30th is being called 'Green Monday' by some, as recreational marijuana is now legal in Maine.

The referendum narrowly passed in November, and now the waiting period has expired, so pot is legal as of today. That means, you can smoke it, gift it, grow it, and possess up to two-and-a-half ounces of pot, legally.

A moratorium, signed by Governor Paul LePage, means it will be next year before retail stores and social clubs can legally sell marijuana, but private use is okay. The moratorium is in place to give the state time to set up a legal infrastructure to control its commercial sales.

Opponents are continuing to push for restrictions.

So, we'd like to know. Will you light up today?
