Man Seriously Hurt In Turner Crash Has Died

A man who was seriously injured Tuesday in an accident in Turner has died of his injuries.

Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland says 68-year-old Robert Konieczko of Kingfield died overnight at a Lewiston hospital. Tuesday afternoon, he was traveling on Route 4 in Turner when his van overturned near Murray's Mega Mart. Troopers say his van crossed the opposite lane of Route 4 before it overturned, off the road. No one else was in the vehicle with him and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

State Police continue to investigate this crash, to try and determine why Konieczko lost control.
