Kenny Chesney Thanks New England Patriots for Special Training Camp Invite

The leader of “No Shoes Nation” took to social media to thank the football organization for having him at its training camp.

Kenny Chesney thanked New England Patriots owners Robert and Jonathan Kraft and head coach Mike Vrabel on social media Thursday, August 20th, for inviting him to the team’s training camp.

Chesney said the visit had him ready for football season, joking that it brought a whole new meaning to “The Boys of Fall,” the title of his 2010 song.

That same day, the Patriots shared a video of country star Kenny Chesney walking with coach Mike Vrabel at training camp, captioning the post, “No Shoes Nation made it out to camp.”

Chesney has performed at Gillette Stadium a record 24 times, including three sold-out shows in August 2024. That tour also stopped at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor that summer, where Megan Moroney was among the supporting acts.

Gillette Stadium is also where Chesney coined the “No Shoes Nation” nickname for his fans in 2012.

The Patriots will kick off the 2026 regular season on Wednesday, September 9th, against the Seattle Seahawks, before returning to Gillette Stadium for their home opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, September 20th.
