It was approximately 7:12 a.m. on August 20, 2026,  when a Union Street resident reported that he had returned home from work and found a woman sleeping in his bed.

Police interviewed the homeowner, who said he had left his residence unlocked when he went to work and, apparently, Ms. Howard had entered the residence while he was away and climbed into bed.
