Man Displaying Pistol Demands Money At Bangor Convenience Store
Bangor police are searching for a man they say displayed a handgun and asked for money at a Main Street convenience store early Tuesday morning.
Police say a white male wearing a red sweatshirt with the hood up entered the Circle K convenience store at 545 Main Street at about 4:45 a.m.He displayed a black pistol and demanded money from an employee, according to police."There was some confusion between the clerk and the suspect and the suspect left the store with no cash," Bangor Police Sgt. Tim Cotton said in a news release.
The suspect left on foot and headed toward Hollywood Casino.
Police describe the man as about 30 years old, wearing a red sweatshirt with a hood. The sweatshirt appears to have rectangular piece cut out or missing from the back of the shirt.
