I know a lot of people love Maine winters. These are people who ski, snowmobile, ice skate, ice fish, or snowboard.

So doing all those fun, outdoor activities are really not my thing.
Maine Winters Can Cause Cabin Fever For People Who Don't Like Outdoor Activities
But that presents a question. What do you do in the winter in Maine that's fun, but keeps you inside, other than driving to and from the activity?
Gathering with friends for a dinner party is always fun. Visiting family can be fun too, provided you don't talk politics.
Cabin fever is a real thing in Maine, however. And sticking to quiet gatherings can become tedious. Braving the cold to sit around and watch TV with others is maybe not the best solution.
Maine Has a Lot of Fun Things People Can Do Inside During the Winter
So what do you do? How can you enjoy the Maine winter, alone or with friends and family, while staying inside with the heat turned up?

Some of these may not be your cup of tea, and that's okay. Putting one or two into your recreational routine could spice up your winter and give you something to look forward to when the weather starts getting really cold.
