Maine Veteran’s Home Car Show Fundraiser on July 28th!

Coming up on July 28th, the Maine Veterans' Home has teamed up with Darling's Auto Group for their annual Car Show Fundraiser on July 28th! It'll be a great summer day to get out and see some cool cars, eat some food, and raise a bunch of money to help out the Maine Veterans' Home.

The event will be held right at the Maine Veterans' Home on Saturday July 28th, from 10:00a.m. - 2:00p.m. There is no admission, but donations are gladly accepted. Should Mother Nature decide not to cooperate, the event will be re-scheduled to August 4th. Last year was the best year so far, featuring over 100 different cars, trucks, and race cars. this year promises to be just as exciting!

The 101st Re-Fueling Wing will also be on hand to help man the grills, take money, and all-around help out! They're even offering a sweet special on food....$5 for a burger/drink/chips combo! All donations and proceeds from food sales, will be split evenly between the Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter, and the MVH Activities Fund.

So wax the car, shine up the upholstery, scrape the bugs off the headlights, and come on down to support a great cause. And while you're at it, see some of the coolest cars in the area. Plus you'll be doing your part to help out veterans right here in the Bangor area. It doesn't get any better than that!
