Technology is changing the way we do everything, including how kids communicate with Santa about their Christmas wish lists.

A Bangor-area business has set up a very special communication line with the Big Guy, so kids don't have to rely on snail-mail to get their wishes heard. Not that there's anything wrong with a good old letter to Santa, but how cool would it be to talk to him on the phone? Instant access!

Kids of all ages can call and talk to Santa Claus from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 2 to 5 p.m. on Sundays, throughout the month of December. (oh yeah, you have to wait til next month. Santa's a busy guy, after all) Just call (207) 989-5450, extension 111. Or, if they're too shy to talk to that jolly old elf, they can email him at christmasmagicbegins@vacationlandinns.com.

I have to start working on my email, so I can get the 'pony' I want for Christmas.
