Maine Finishes Second To Last In Economy Rankings
Maine finished 49th in new state economy rankings complied by Business Insider.
The Website says Maine scored poorly in several areas, including job growth. The state saw just a 0.84% spike in jobs from December 2013 to December 2014.
Maine's Gross Domestic Product per capita was below average in 2013 at just over $38,000.
And the state's average weekly wage for the second quarter of 2014 was low at $746.
The only state to rank lower than Maine was Mississippi.

3) Colorado
4) California
