Maine Deputies Investigate an Alleged Domestic Violence Incident in Orrington

Winston Harmon, 19, of the Orrington/Holden area was arrested after an incident reported to deputies just before 9:30 Monday morning.

Officials received information that Harmon was at a residence on Fowler Road in Orrington, which was in violation of his active bail conditions .

Harmon had previously been arrested in Orrington on the following charges:

  • Domestic violence assault
  • Violation of conditions of release
  • Illegal possession of a firearm by a prohibited person

It was because of those charges that Harmon was prohibited from being at the residence and from having any contact with the protected person.

When deputies arrived, they found that Harmon had fled the area on foot. He was located a short time later on Fields Pond Road in Orrington and taken to the Penobscot County Jail, where he's being held without bail, pending a new charge of violation of conditions of release.

Maine Deputies Investigate an Alleged Domestic Violence in Corinth

In a separate incident, Kyle Ouellette, 28 of Corinth, was arrested for an alleged domestic violence assault incident that was reported at approximately 10:25 a.m.

When deputies arrived at the Corinth residence, they learned that Ouellette was no longer at the scene.

The female victim sought medical treatment at a local hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.

A resulting investigation that took approximately 24 hours led deputies to a hotel in Bangor, where Ouellette was taken into custody.

He's charged with two counts of domestic violence aggravated assault and one count of obstructing the report of a crime or injury, and is being held  at the Penobscot County Jail, pending an initial court appearance.
