Maine Backpack Vandal Arrested Again, This Time After 2 Crashes
A man arrested last week for allegedly damaging 75 cars at an Auburn dealership is in trouble again after being released on $150 bail.
Maine Man Who Allegedly Did $80K+ in Damage at Dealership In the News Again
Skyler Henson, 25, of Auburn is facing new charges, in connection with the latest incident:
- Driving to endanger
- Operating after suspension
- Leaving the scene of a personal injury accident
- Violating conditions of release
Henson was out on bail at the time of this latest arrest.

In the Latest Incident, Skyler Henson Allegedly Fled a Crash and Caused Another
Lewiston Police were called to a multi-vehicle crash at Main and Canal Streets just before 7:30 Tuesday night. Officials say the vehicle that caused the crash had left the scene of that incident and then proceeded to crash into more vehicles. The driver fled the scene when the suspect vehicle was found on Lisbon Street but was quickly located by police and taken into custody. Officials say he has been identified as Skyler Henson, 25, of Auburn.
Henson's Bail Was Reduced to $150 by a Judge
Over the weekend, Henson was arrested in Auburn after allegedly causing between $80,000 and $90,000 in damages to roughly 75 vehicles. Officials say he reportedly used a weighted backpack to damage vehicles at the Rowe Auburn dealership. After his arrest, he was initially held on $5,000 cash bail, but the presiding judge lowered his bail to $150.00 and Henson was released.
