Maine Artists Nominated For The 2018 New England Music Awards
Maine will be well represented at the 2018 New England Music Awards.
The 2018 New England Music Awards nominees have been announced. There will be many Mainers traveling to Massachusetts in September to claim their trophy. The awards will be handed out at Mixx 360 in Malden, Massacusettes on September 8.
In the meantime, voting is underway to determine the winners. Maine acts including Chris Ross and The North, Mallett Brothers Band, Ghost of Paul Revere, and Spose have nominations in some of the major category's.
Chris Ross and The North has the most out of the Maine nominees. The Hancock based group is nominated for Album of the Year, Live Act of the Year, and Roots Act of the Year. In addition, their song "Dangerous Man" could score the group Song of the Year.
The best in state category includes Cathedral Reign, Emily and Jake, Five Of The Eyes, Golden Oak, Lone Wolf James, theWorst, The Other Bones, Too Late the Hero, and Weakened Friends.
